Amanda Zarr (Lady Macbeth)
Amanda Zarr is a professional actor and adjunct theatre professor who started on her creative path at Chapman University where she received her BFA. She began work with Shakespeare Orange County during her undergraduate education at Chapman and she was a company member for over 10 years. Notable roles with the company include Juliet, Ophelia, and Lady Anne in Richard III. She lived three years in Seattle, Washington where she attended the University of Washington and acquired her MFA from the prestigious PATP program. Amanda has worked in many popular TV shows and films and now works with the Newport Film Festival. She has received acting awards from major festivals and has had a film featured at Sundance. Amanda has also been a guest artist with the Pensacola Shakespeare Company, American Coast Theater Company, Ophelia’s Jump and Need Theater of Los Angeles and Santa Fe University of Art and Design where she worked with Jon Jory and Robert Benedetti. She teaches at Chapman University, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and San Gabrielle Valley School of the Arts.
Mark Piatelli (Banquo / Siward)
Mark Piatelli is happy to be joining American Coast Theatre Company a second time after performing in the West coast premier of Life Without Parole at the Edgemar Theatre in Santa Monica. Mark received his MFA in Acting and Directing from California State University Long Beach; a BA from Yale University; a Certificate of Training from Circle in the Square’s 2-year acting conservatory in New York. He played the roles of Hamlet and Petruchio for Shakespeare by the Sea, and Duke Vincentio in Meaure for Measure at the Franklin Stage Company in New York. With Shakespeare by the Sea he also directed Richard III and Much Ado About Nothing which earned a Top Ten nod for the South Bay. Most recently, Mark has been building his Signature Song business, creating custom songs for individuals, events or organizations.
Ryan Miller (Macduff)
Ryan is an actor and educator originally from Redlands, California. Previous credits include Tartuffe, All My Sons, Last Train to Nibroc, The Hiding Place, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Life on Roosevelt Plaza, Three Sisters, and Development. Ryan earned his BA from Vanguard University and is a graduate of the MFA acting program at the University of California Los Angeles where he studied under SITI Company members J Ed Araiza and Ellen Lauren, as well as Paul Wagar, Judith Moreland, and Jean Louie Rodrigue. Ryan also works as an acting instructor in the musical theatre conservatory at Orange County School of the Arts.
